Mate, this is the xauusd. I’ve been trading gold for the last 5 years and I’ve never had this issue before. It only started this week. There is no such problem on EURUSD, it only happens on gold.

If you do the math, you will see, that increasing the position size from 0.02, will increase the risk to 139.62 + (139.62 / 2) = 209.43, while you entered 200 as your maximum tolerable risk. You can set the RoundDown parameter to false in the input parameters, this will cause the position size to be rounded to 0.03 in cases such as this one, but I wouldn't recommend that. As to why this happens mostly in XAUUSD and rarely in currency pairs, that's because the SL distances in XAUUSD tend to be longer than in currency pairs, which means that $ risk per 1 lot position size is higher.
I activate the Position Sizer in my MT5 and the chart and the entire application start freezing, but when I remove the Position Sizer the chart moves normally again. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how did you solve it?

I really want to thank you for the Position Sizer EA. It has helped me a lot for fast executing orders.
But last month after the update in MT5 platform the Position Sizer EA is slowing down mt5. Its hanging.
First I thought my laptop is hanging but that was not the issue. After closing position sizer EA, mt5 started
working properly. I tried other EA's too but there was no issue and so I tried another mt5 broker there was
no problem but again after the update of that mt5 too it started with the same issue. Can you please help me
with this issue

I have a question let say I’m trying with high lot size and my broker highest lots per trade is 200 lots but for a day trader or swing trader this is enough but for a scalper it really not especially if they have a high account balance, if there a way open multiple positions with the same TP and SL to so I can use more than 200 lots for a trade?
But would it still calculate my risk and position Like normal?Disable the Live trading in MT4, Algo Trading in MT5 in Common tab, while you loading the EA,
Autotrading should be disabled MetaTrader 4, Algo trading in MT5

Yes, it can do that. You just need to set the SurpassBrokerMaxPositionSize parameter to true.
If I'm not worng. While your broker allows 10 lots for a symbol, but you tried to place 15 lots it won't ignore your lot size. It'll process lots like 10 lots then 5 lots.

Yes correct. Most of the time it'll be like placed on same price. Some times the next available price if the price moves faster.
Just check with pending orders. You will understand clearly.
so if any1 has this problem on MacOS, this is the solution to get the MT5 working.
I dont know about positions sizers because i didnt install my MagicKeys yet, but at least MT5 works:
- Uninstall the current MT5 (drag the application to Trash)
- Delete the Wine prefix:
- Open Finder → Go → Go to Folder and enter: ~/Library/Application Support/
- Delete the folders Metatrader 5 and net.metaquotes.wine.metatrader5
- Reinstall MT5 using the official installer

The Position Sizer doesn't care if it is Linux, macOS, or Windows. It should run in either as long as your MT5 is installed and functioning properly in your OS.
Hello, does anyone know why every time I add the Position Sizer to my charts, MetaTrader starts to freeze/crash?
I've tried it on 3 different MetaTrader versions. All 3 start freezing when I add the Position Sizer.
If I delete the EA, MetaTrader works normally.
The Position Sizer always worked fine, but last week my MetaTrader started to become very very slow.
Then I discovered that if I delete the Position Sizer from the chart, MetaTrader starts working fine again.
Does anyone know why?
