Also, could you try installing a different MT5 instance from some other broker and verify if the issues (keyboard shortcuts or freezing) persist there? That way we would know whether it's a PS+system or a PS+broker issue.

This is bizarre, It worked fine and then it didn't. Same thing with the first Broker Pepperstone - sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't - Broker FXPRO 1764663652605.png

Its just saying no settings file to load. The hotkey issue. Then I load it again and it works. Also -it starts all of a sudden after loading it 5 minutes prior when it wasn't working at first.

Remove old settings file that is in the "\MQL5\Files" folder then check it please.

The funny thing is, I am testing all this in exactly the same Pepperstone MT5 Build 5430 MT5. So, it shouldn't be a broker issue.

You can ignore the messages about the settings file - they aren't related to this. Like @EnrichWave suggested, please try deleting all .ini and .txt files from the /MQL5/Files/ folder. Before re-loading the Position Sizer. This might help.

That seems to have fixed it! Thank You!

ACCOUNT CURRENCY: One my broker accounts is in AUD. Can this position sizer account for this (auto-detect margin currency) or should I look for another position sizer for this account?

Problem

Position Sizer allows configuring which corner of the chart the panel should be placed through the PanelPositionCorner input, with options for all four corners: upper left, upper right, lower left, and lower right.
When setting the panel anchor to the right side of the chart, in a dual monitor setup, a positioning problem was identified. MetaTrader at normal size (when opening the program) opens on monitor 1 (left). When resizing the MetaTrader window to the right side (occupying monitor 2), the panel position did not follow correctly, ending up in different positions with each window size change.
The original EA behavior of saving each interface position change to the INI file also made it difficult to keep the panel in the same place when resizing the window. With each resize, a new (incorrect) position was saved, and that position was used as reference for the next calculation, creating inconsistency. Additionally, the constant I/O to the INI file brought some delay during transitions.
With the anchor on the left side, the problem did not occur, since the left corner of the chart remains fixed when the window is expanded to the right.
Solution

I added the LockPanelToCorner input that allows the user to choose between two behaviors:

false (default): Original behavior maintained — position is saved to INI file and panel can be dragged freely
true: Panel always calculates its position from the configured inputs (PanelPositionX, PanelPositionY, PanelPositionCorner), correctly following window resizing without saving to INI

This way I preserved the original code and logic for those who prefer the EA working the previous way, while I offered the new option for those who face the positioning problem.

Does anyone know how to move the line's points value to the left so I can visualize them better?

Normally, they should auto-align to be completely visible. I see that on a Hi-DPI screen it might not be working very well. Could you please let me know what DPI is your screen?

My Zenbook screen size is 14 inch and I'm using the recommended settings as below.

OK, I see. I tested on a 150% scale and it was hidden just a little. As I understand, it gets much worse on a 200% scale. I will fix this in the next version. As a temporary solution, you could try increasing/decreasing the label font size and changing the font type via input parameters to see if it helps.

Hello @Enivid
Great fan of your Position Sizer. i have been using it for years.
Since I updated to 5430 I can't use the keyboard shortcuts.
Yesterday I removed the EA and reload it again and It started working again.
But today after repeating the same procedure it didn't.
Some guidance here is appreciated.

Hello,
I switched to Linux. I'm using ZORIN OS.

I could use PSC on Windows.

Here, I can't even put it in the open data folder. I can't paste the folder.

Also, I don't know English, I'm using Translate.

If there's a link or section explaining how to run PSC on Linux, could you please share it?

Thank you

Sorry, I've never tried installing or running Position Sizer under a Linux system. Given that MT5 there is likely running under WINE, perhaps, this video tutorial on installing it on macOS can help you?
