Hello, I'm having a problem with version 3.11.
I've followed all the steps in the installation video, but when I try to perform an operation, the confirmation box appears, but afterward, I hear an error sound. Could you please help me?

Check the Experts tab log for the messages. It should print the cause of the error there.

Hi @Enivid, hope you're well.

Quick one - does the position sizer only allow multiple take profits by entering multiple positions, or is there an option to have it enter a single position but then allow you set the multiple profit levels?

Apologies if this has been answered already.

Only the first option is available - entering multiple positions each with its own TP.

Hello, I use position sizer over mt5, I normally did not encounter any problems when using it over a single account, but when I change the account instantly, sometimes I get an error sound when I want to take action from the position sizer. It was fixed a few times when I tried manually after receiving the transaction, but recently this has not started to work either, is this a common problem? Whether I uninstalled the plugin from graphics and reactivated it or completely uninstalled the plugin from the beginning and reinstalled it didn't change anything

Please check the Experts tab log when you get that error sound - it should provide a reason for execution failure.

I cannot figure out how stop level value is calculated whrn default is 0. According to documentation Stop-Loss level is calculated as the nearest low. Is this low at the timeframe in use or which timeframe?

Yes, it's Low of the current timeframe. Sometimes, it may get set to some seemingly random value when data hasn't yet fully loaded.

I just did a fresh install and I have a few issues.
1. My risk % shows as 0.4. I set the risk there before I reinstalled the EA ( I uninstalled, double checked the data folder and deleted the PositionSizer folder, shut down my MT5 platform and reinstalled the EA and compiled the Position Sizer mq5 file ) but why is it persistant now?
2. The "Main" tab mixes up my balance with equity and shows an asterisk.
3. The "position size" is red.
The only thing I can think of is I have a persistant storage problem. Please help 🙂

You just need to delete the contents of the MQL5\Files\PS_Settings\ folder.

Hi, first of all many thanks for such a powerful tool for free. Please advise if a user can do the below and if not, take it as a suggestion for future update.
To allow users to select the Spread Adjustment for SL and TP without having to activate "ShowATROptions".
E.g. If I have a 300 point SL already pre-set the calculator can adjust this pre-set SL using the current spread on it automatically.

Let me know if this is doable on current version?

Hello, I trade gold and have been using a Position Sizer for almost a year. It’s excellent for quick and precise entries.
Suppose I want to risk $100 and close half my position when TP1 reaches a 1:1 RRR. So, I enter at @3330, SL at @3320, so TP1 is @3340.
At this point, I want half my position closed.
I don’t know how to do this automatically, so I use a semi-manual method. Instead of one $100 position, I open two $50 positions, manually setting TP at @3340 by adjusting the line in MetaTrader’s TP, and the TP for the second position elsewhere.
But if I used a tight SL and the price moved quickly, I might not adjust TP1 in time.
So, my question is: Can this be automated?

Second question: Can TP1 and TP2 be set based on Risk-Reward Ratio and percentage position size? For example, I open a position and want to close 30% at TP1 when it hits a 1:1 RRR, and the remaining 70% at a 1:2 RRR?

Thank. you!

No, this cannot be done now. I also doubt that this is something that will appear in the future versions of the Position Sizer. You can achieve the same by setting the SL either closer or farther.

You can already do this by adding a second TP to the trade setup. After that, pressing the Trade button will open two positions (dividing the trade automatically in two equal halves) - both with the same SL but each with its own TP.

Pressing the TP button by default places the TP line at 1:1 relative to the SL. Adding a second TP after that, will place it at 1:2. The only thing you'll need to modify is to change the default volume share from 50/50 to 30/70.

Thank you @Enivid. I'm using a Position Sizer downloaded a year ago. Was the functionality you're talking about added in an update since then?
I understand I need the latest version?

It would have to know which version exactly you are using, but multiple TPs have been available for ages, so I think you should certainly have this feature.

Alright. Thanks for your reply. Appreciate it!
