hey enivid....... yes, still with apex and topstep...... happy with both..... plan on keeping it that way...... no live accounts yet..... sim only......

being live will only help.....

did have takeprofittrader but they have 2 realistic rules that keep tripping me up...... it's my fault, not theirs.....

have decided the perfect account for me is the apex 100k with static drawn down and $2000 profit target....... the max draw down remains $625, does not trail up......with 90% off, the cost is 15$ plus the activation fee which varies with promotions , but can't remember it being more than $140.....

so get in cost, with 90% off, is $155 for 100k.......

max contracts allowed is the least of all accounts, only 20 micros.......

2 micros is plenty enough....... 625 static drawn down is plenty enough......

the rest is up to us......h

should have worded that better...... the activation fee is not charged unless you pass.......

enivid knows this but some might not...... trading is difficult for most of us...... our odds of success are low.......

i am not suggesting anyone trade anything in any manner.......

my preference for the prop firm approach is simply the risk avoidance......h

apex has been running their 90% off deal with discounted activation fees the past couple weeks......

signed up for some 300k's..... today is the last day..... minutes ago they texted me saying the discounted activation fee was extend till this weekend.....

have fourteen 100k papex accounts now, so the most 300's i could get would be 6....... maximum accounts allowed is 20......

you can cancel smaller papex accounts to make room for larger ones..... that has never worked out for me.....

passed 6 of the 14 evals now, will likely just cancel the others.....

during this sale, the total all in charges for the 300k is 144$...... seems quite a bargain in percent return......

it is not easy for me to pass the 300k in the time allowed due to my aversion to risk...... but it can be done......

a well defined plan will help...... when mixed with a good dose of luck.....h

20k profit is required to pass the 300k eval.....

once the pa active, 7600 is required as buffer...... first 5 payouts are capped at 3500 per individual account.....

minimum 8 trading days.....

not sure what to expect......h
