TradersPost Features

No-Code Automation
TradersPost eliminates the need for programming by letting users connect signals from TradingView or TrendSpider directly to their broker accounts. Strategies can be set up and running in under three minutes.

Event-Driven Webhook Architecture
Each strategy receives a unique webhook URL that external platforms use to deliver JSON messages containing trade signals. TradersPost parses the message, applies strategy and subscription settings, then routes the order to the connected broker.

Parallel Account Execution
A single signal can execute trades across multiple broker, exchange, and prop firm accounts simultaneously. Each subscription can override the signal defaults with its own position size, risk controls, and order types.

Signal Inheritance Model
Subscription settings include an "Allow signal override" toggle on most fields. Users can let the signal dictate quantity and order type, or disable inheritance to enforce fixed settings per account. This allows one universal signal to scale across accounts with different trade sizes and risk profiles.

Multiple Asset Classes
TradersPost supports stocks, options, futures, and spot crypto. Forex and crypto futures are listed as coming soon.

Paper Trading
A built-in paper broker is available for strategy testing without financial risk. Paper trading is free during the 7-day trial and supports all asset classes. Users can also connect broker-provided paper accounts from TradeStation, Alpaca, Tradovate, and others.

Bracket Orders and Risk Management
Supported brokers can receive entry orders with attached take profit and stop loss orders, including OTOCO (One Triggers OCO) bracket orders. Stop losses can be configured as stop market, stop limit, or trailing stop.

Cloud-Based Execution
TradersPost runs entirely on cloud infrastructure. Users do not need to keep a computer online or a browser open for strategies to execute. Signals are processed 24/7 on TradersPost servers.

Command Pad Chrome Extension
A free Chrome extension provides a visual control panel for discretionary traders, with pre-configured buttons that send JSON signals directly to TradersPost webhooks. It extracts live ticker and price data from supported charting platforms.

Signal Template Creator
Users can build and save reusable JSON signal templates from the strategy dashboard. Templates can include take profit, stop loss, trailing stops, and position sizing instructions defined through a visual interface.

Troubleshooting Dashboard
Every incoming signal is logged with its timestamp, ticker, action, and per-subscription execution status. Users can click into each signal to see the full trade chain, including order fills, broker responses, and rejection reasons.

Prop Firm Integration
TradersPost connects TradingView or TrendSpider alerts to Tradovate and ProjectX prop firm accounts. Users can automate futures trades across multiple evaluation and funded accounts from firms including Topstep, Apex Trader Funding, and over 25 others.

Position Sizing Options
The platform supports fixed quantity, dollar amount, risk dollar amount, risk percent, and percent of equity position sizing. Dynamic calculations can use the signal price or the latest broker quote depending on order type.

Order Queueing
Orders received when the market is closed are queued and executed at the next market open. One queued trade per strategy subscription and ticker is allowed at a time.

Fractional Share Support
Brokers that support fractional trading, including Alpaca and Robinhood, can receive fractional quantities through TradersPost. Fractional orders are restricted to simple market orders without stop loss or take profit attachments.

Trade Journal Compatibility
TradersPost order data can be exported and imported into third-party trade journaling platforms including TradeZella, TraderVue, TraderSync, and TradesViz.

Scheduled Maintenance
Weekly maintenance windows run Saturdays from 01:30 AM to 05:30 AM UTC, corresponding to Friday 9:30 PM to Saturday 1:30 AM Eastern Time. Markets are closed during these windows except for crypto.

17+ Broker Connections
Supported brokers include TradeStation, Alpaca, Robinhood, Interactive Brokers, NinjaTrader, E*TRADE, Webull, Coinbase, tastytrade, Tradier, Binance, Kraken, Bybit, Crypto.com, Tradovate, and ProjectX. A TradersPost paper broker is also included.

TradersPost Signal Sources

TradingView
The primary signal source for most users. TradingView Pine Script strategies send buy, sell, and exit signals via webhook using TradingView's {{strategy.order.action}}, {{ticker}}, and {{close}} variables. Both strategies and indicator-based alerts are supported.

TrendSpider
TrendSpider can send alerts as webhooks with variables for symbol, price, alert name, and price action event. The platform also supports Trading Bots functionality, though ticker variables are not supported in bot JSON and must be hardcoded.

Command Pad
TradersPost's own Chrome extension sends signals directly to webhooks from a side panel interface. It extracts the ticker and price live from supported charting platforms and supports pre-built signal templates with one-click execution.

Custom Code
Webhooks can be sent from any programming language including PHP, Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Go, Java, C++, C#, and cURL. The webhook endpoint accepts standard HTTPS POST requests with JSON payloads.

Discord Bot
A PHP-based Discord bot example is provided in the documentation, demonstrating how TradersPost webhooks can receive trade signals from Discord channel messages.
