The 95 % figure does not take account of , losses with more than 1 broker, a trader loses 95% at one broker , then he loses more % , possibly 99% lose.

99 % of traders will actually lose money due to their mindsets, this because all our trading is done by subconscious mind. This psychology information and knowledge is not told by any psychologist or trader , because the whole industry does not want traders to know , the industry wants you to lose. Most forums hide the psychology truth from members.

Such arithmetic stature can be perilous for any trader who is likely to start his initial trading journey in the competitive field of forex. A beginner can get threat from such figures. But yes, it is true that any trader can feel many challenges due to lack of proper mindsets and there are many traders’ example who have lost the precious money of them due to their lack of acquaintance and trading perceptive.

The forums and brokers usually an members or hide these figures, so losers keep on trading.

It has been said that 95% of the traders are loser. However, no such research paper exists that demonstrates this number right. The reason is generally speaking trading decisions are not established on sound research or took a stab at trading techniques, yet on sentiments, the prerequisite for preoccupation and the might want to make a million dollars in your dress. What traders reliably ignore is that trading is a calling and requires capacities that ought to be made over years.

It’s been said that 95% traders lose but this is not the exact number which is fixed. But yes there might be multiple reasons why this happens
  • Lake of accurate money management plan or they are too driven by greed that they trade just for the sake of trading
  • No research before actually operating the trading platforms.
  • Sentiments come in between while trading lack of patience.
  • Selection of wrong broker.

Do not overcomplicate that stat, I see it something like for example here anyway and I can tell that most of the time it's not just pure luck or something like that but more like some broker and his shady doings anyway. How does that sounds to you ?

You wouldn’t be lucky enough, if you are trading with an ordinary trading skill! That’s the point!

I have no idea from where you get such statistics? It would be nice that somebody post documented research paper from where it can be confirmed that 95% of traders are losers on this market. In this way we have only one statement in thread with not too much support to it

95% is an urban myth.

Quiet a few CEO's used to post on trade2win and they stated around 80% lost.

This has since been cofirmed with the EMSA rules, forcing brokers to disclose the exact percentage of their customers that lost as a disclaimer on the brokers website.

99% is way too high I would say, I bet it's more like 79% or so anyway at worst cause all that brokers (I know it's from spreads, fees and leverages but still!!!!) and some traders should really make the money, it's not just some one percent and that's it really.

Forums are run to make money.

You're links do not prove your argument.

The posters who said hey were CEO's seemed genuine too me. Talked how they A and B book clients, liquidity providers fore warned about winning traders by the broker, etc and was spot on accurate about the percentage of traders who won, years before the information was released under EMSA.

Much like the Forex Factory thread where previous institutional traders have posted about their experiences trading on Banking desks and what exactly happens and how.

If your pardon the pun, 99% of forums are a distraction. The institutional trader thread and the CEO comments are the 1%.

I myself rarely use forums now.
