Better Volume Indicator v1.5 with Sound and Email Alert

Not really ... there will be no false alarm when the bar's color will be changed because all we need is to alert and pop up a window when the Volume Climax Up (red) or Down (white) is identified.

At this moment it only signals when the candle is already closed. This needs to be modified showing the alert once the color turns RED or WHITE, and not after the bar is closed!

Ok. In the source file, change this line:

         if (red[1] > 0) {

to this:

         if (red[0] > 0) {

And this:

         if (white[1] > 0) {

to this:

         if (white[0] > 0) {

This will lead to a situation when a lot of false alerts will be generated when the bar's color will be changing due to the changing OHLC levels.

This is absolutely correct.

OK, here it is attached - Set Ignore<Color> input parameter to true for colors you wish the alert system to ignore.

Dear Enivid,

I just joined your forum today. Was interested in downloading the Better Volume Indicator v1.5 with Alerts, I downloaded and tried to instal on my MT4 platform. When I copied and pasted into the MQL4 Indicator folder and tried to attach to my charts nothing happens, I tried to compile it, it shows 2 errors, not sure it is because of this. Pls help as I am interested in this indicator...

The only ones I could get to compile were BetterVolume 1.4 and BetterVolume 1.5 new. The others were definitely the latest posted.

Would you be willing to convert this better volume 1.5 with alerts into MT5 version or update existing MT5 version which you already created with this alerts? I do not know what are are alerts in this BV1.5 version but must have alerts on red and white bars ( buying and selling climax) coded in original BV1.4 (MT4) and BV for MT5 that you already coded. Alerts must come when bar is closed only. You promised you will do it when you have time and it past more then a year since then ....You are the best and shouldn't take you that much time....

Well, as was originally created for MT4 and MT this version of BV1.5 for MT5 has to have bar-chart version as well...you did it as well just doesn't have alerts...and at that time i asked you to put alerts for red and white bars ( buying and selling climax).
I noticed that colors in BV1.5 are messed up with original version for example neutral volume is colored white ...

Now it is on you to keep your promise....

Sorry, mjackson, but I am utterly confused with all the requests I get regarding BV modifications. If you believe that asking me across two threads with at least 4 different versions (including one with some chunks of SDRW indicator code added) is a good idea to get me to do something, then you are wrong.

If you want me to code something for you, you must at least spend some time to offer a well-formulated task and list of requirements.

PS: The only thing that I had promised is to convert original BV 1.4 from MT4 to MT5, and it was already done.

Yes in appearance you are right regarding my request for alerts ...I was trying to get alert on Buying (Red and Magenta bar) and Selling climax (White and Magenta bar) only if volume of Magenta, Red and White bars is bigger then volume of previous bar and it would show blue up arrow( bellow low of the bar ) and red down arrow (above high of the bar) and alert would be given after red and white bars are closed...so it would not be alert on every red and white bar...that is for this thread: http://www.earnforex.com/forum/f12/better-volume-8195/

Same thing described above you get and I suggested it if there is alert when Magenta, Red and White bars (Better Volume:http://www.earnforex.com/forum/f12/better-volume-8195/) match with up and down arrows form SDRW indicator (http://www.earnforex.com/forum/f12/cdrw_with-alert-8824/) .basicaly, need to partly combine BV(http://www.earnforex.com/forum/f12/better-volume-8195/) and SDRW (http://www.earnforex.com/forum/f12/cdrw_with-alert-8824/) indicators on described way...Since both indicators you already created in MT5 It ought it might be easier for you to do it on this way...of course applied on BetterVolumeChartBars Indicator

Then indirectly through another member (buytosell) I asked you to convert this indicator , created in MT4 (http://www.earnforex.com/forum/f12/cash_flow-17006/) to MT5 which is same thing as previous two options described above....

Unfortunately for whatever reason you did not respond to any of above request for help...

And finally I notice that you were creating some alerts and other features for BV version presented in this thread and I just wanted to use opportunity to ask you to incorporate alerts described above and convert it to MT5......Sorry for confusion.

I would be most happy if you decide to upgrade BV(http://www.earnforex.com/forum/f12/better-volume-8195/) with alerts described above on any of two suggested ways...or simple convert CASH_FLOW(http://www.earnforex.com/forum/f12/cash_flow-17006/) indicator to MT5.

I am willing to cooperate with you to get good indicator as you and I did several times in the past: Easy trend Visualiser, WRB Hidden Gap, Better Volume, SDRW, Fractals and Market Facilitation Index).

The BV 1.5 new with Alert and color ignoring does not open on my charts.
Could you compile for me, I use MT4 version 4.00 build 745 (24 Oct 2014).
