Discuss Moving Average with Alert indicator (a simple indicator for notifications when price closes above or below the moving average ) for MT4 and MT5 in this thread. You can ask any questions about this indicator here.
It will work like that if you set the 'Candle To Use For Analysis' parameter to 'PREVIOUS CANDLE'.Is there a option in this indicator to get alert only when the candle closes above or below the moving averages ?
Switch the 'Candle To Use For Analysis' from CURRENT CANDLE to PREVIOUS CANDLE.Good morning Community..
Please if someone can help me regarding the indicator:
"Moving Average with Alert (MT4, MT5) — Receive notifications when price crosses its moving average".
I installed this indicator but I have not been able to configure it so that it only gives me (1) alert of crossing between the price and the moving average, only when the candle closes.
Currently the problem is that it generates multiple alerts on the same candle, every time the price crosses the moving average.
Thanks to whoever can help me..
FRANK
Thanks for letting me know! The second download link said MT4 but was actually downloading the MT5 version, so only the text was incorrect. It should be fixed now.Hello @Enivid , I would like to download this indicator but both of the links are for MT4 , there is no link for MT5.
I would like to change the default settings as an EMA so I can use a hotkey to quickly use it for entry confirmation. I attemted to wright EMA as the (moving average method) and save it but after pressing complie 14 errors showed. Can you help with this please? Thanks for letting me know! You didn't copy all the folders/files when installing the source code.I would like to change the default settings as an EMA so I can use a hotkey to quickly use it for entry confirmation. I have a habit of doing that lol. Thanks again EnividYou didn't copy all the folders/files when installing the source code.
The only way to avoid the initial dialog window not to pop up when adding an indicator is to add it to a template and then load that template on a chart. But then, you'd have to go through the process of loading the template. I'm not sure if that's easier/faster than pressing TAB three times and then Enter when dealing with the dialog window.@Enivid , Is it possible to load the indicator without the settings window appearing? The same as with the close all orders and break even? I removed a line that I thought could possibly achieve this but it didn't.
