Which One is More Harmful? Fear or Greed?

I think greed, accompanied by emotions, is more harmful than fear. Fears may hold you back from opening a position, but greed, due to emotions, will throw your orders into the market by reducing rationality.

You've nailed the emotional rollercoaster of trading! Fear and greed destroy more accounts than bad strategies. The key is discipline—treat demo like live, trade small, and scale up slowly. A proven system from a profitable mentor saves years of trial and error. But even the best system fails without emotional control. Journal every trade, stick to your rules, and accept losses as part of the game. Confidence comes from consistency, not luck. Most quit too soon; the ones who succeed are those who master their psychology first. Keep it mechanical, and emotions won’t stand a chance. Stay patient!
Discipline helps, but demo can't replicate real emotions, and a mentor's system may not fit everyone. Psychology matters, but without adaptability and solid risk management, it’s not enough.
