MetaQuotes has rolled out a new MT5 update yesterday - Build 1135. It makes a lot of serious changes to nearly all aspects of the trading platform. The most important are listed here:

  • It is now possible to pay for a product in MQL5 Market without registration in the MQL5 portal. It also not necessary to make a deposit to your MQL5 account to pay for something - the payment will automatically go through it when you decide to buy something.
  • EAs and indicators can now be debugged using history charts.
  • Improved Virtual Hosting service, similarly to the recent update of MT4.
  • It is now possible to add non-tradable assets to the trader's account to increase the amount of equity and available margin. It is an interesting new feature, but I wonder if any broker will support it and if traders will really use it? It is like adding a collateral for a loan.
  • A new Depth Of Market look with a tick chart showing recent market trades and their volumes directly on the chart.
  • Symbol info window now shows the expiration date for the expiring instruments (like futures for example).
  • Improved terminal's display for higher screen resolutions (4K).
  • It is now possible to filter the economic calendar events using different languages.
  • Is now possible to search through the logs in the Log Viewer.
  • Thai translation of the terminal is now available.
  • Added GetMicrosecondCount() function to get the number of microseconds that have passed since the program launch.
  • OpenCL buffer's size in bytes can now be retrieved using CLGetInfoInteger() function with CL_BUFFER_SIZE property.
  • Fixed some bugs.

This MetaTrader 5 update should be available at the MetaQuotes' demo servers; your broker will update its servers in some time. See this post by MetaQuotes for a complete list of changes.
