as promised, here will be a collection of educational / informative / curiosity type indicators.....

they are meant to be on a 1 minute chart but not run full time.....

most were written long ago......

will start with the psar...... my curiosity was, if all timeframes psars were red except the 240 chart, what were the odds that it to would eventually break.....

and if so, is there any benefit in knowing that......

3 settings......

set a true for 240 thru monthly..... monthly will be highest dot in that group....

set b true for 5 thru 60...... 60 will be highest dot in that group....

set c true 1 minute..... it will be the lowest......

drag and drop all on the same window pane..... once all 3 are applied, minute will be lowest dot and monthly will be highest.....

if you only care about 5 thru 60, only apply it once and set b to true.....

it will only be accurate on the 1 minute chart.....

many more curiosity type indicators will follow here......h

it's amazing how quickly indicators and such can be lost over the years....... seems no matter how organized i try to be, it makes no difference......

here are 2 more..... these are in only 4 times frames..... 60 minute up......

same principle.......

my curiosity was similar...... if the qqe or alma was red on all timeframes, could possibly be a psar break on the 30 minute be a good sell.......

or any such 30 minute signal......

you will need the alma and qqe indicators also......h

can not locate the 8 tsr's mentioned in video here....... but will eventually...... too many computers and too many years.......

this 4 tsr version is somewhat different...... you will notice it plots in the center of the window pane...... 240 timeframe up......

the reason , it is meant to be used with companion indicators all dropped on that same window pane.....

in a broader sense it is trying to build a broader case to buy or sell......

similar idea in the chart below, my curiosity was, if the 60 minute tsr turns lime and all other tsr's above it are lime, what are the odds of a buy working out......

the idea will be clearer when i upload the others......h

in the audjpy 60 minute chart above with the tsr's , there is a red line...... that line was actually marking the 60 minute jfatl....... in the chart below i changed the red line to a soild lime one......

entrys based on any single trigger don't seem to work well for me...... tsr is no exception......

the 60 minute audjpy chart below contains, almas, jjmas, jfatls and tsrs...... those 4 indicators are only showing the 240 and up timeframes......

the same thought occurred to me, would a 60 minute signal with....... would multiple indicators on multiple timeframes all confirming each other help......

additionally, would dropping down to say the 5 minute chart give a more precise entry......

the jjmaseries below is an include....... it goes in the include folder....... do not compile it....... there is no ex file, mqh only.....

so that's 4....... would 5 help.......h

Are you able to trade between those lines? thinking of just the top two indicator windows... you have 12 limes but the bar closes at 16:00. what are the odds that the red turns green. Pretty good. But that cnt == 110, not 120.

similary, by adding the last 4, now your first instance of a cnt of 160 doesn't occur until 20:00. not a bad entry. I know you have said, many times, that the trigger is almost immaterial to you.... but timing seems to have also been very important (if not the most important).

is there a point where you take an open 240 signal as a foregone conclusion instead of waiting for close of bar?

there is no way for me to answer your last question there......

here i was speaking about forex, be sure to not mix forex thoughts in with futures thoughts.......

timing is relative to trade duration....... it is very important if your interested in minimum drawdown and your trades are short lived...... timing is much less important if your trades are very long......

it might be best to have set rules...... few of us do..... that includes me...... when i jump the gun, i will quite often shoot myself in the foot...... is it really worth it......

yes, i tried to put myself into to (forex) trades were the actual signal was almost immaterial to me..... you have not thought that thru...... or perhaps you are over thinking it.....

now days, mq4 and forex do not enter my mind........h
