Does anyone here trade strictly according to the trend?

I’ve noticed that when I align my trades with the broader market trend, decision-making becomes much clearer and risk feels more controlled. Counter-trend trades can work, but they demand precision and strong discipline.

I’m curious how others approach trend trading do you rely more on structure, moving averages, or pure price action?

at least in my mind, there is no clear and agreed upon definition of structure and pure price action..... have spent too many years studying both only to end up in frustration......

moving averages on the other hand is precisely defined...... they are simple math.......

moving averages seem to work better for me in times of increasing/deceasing momentum..... such as macd, stochastic and a few others......

seems best if all time frames are weighed with common sense...... meaning it's nice if they all agree but will know in advance there will be smaller timeframe countertrends...... make use of those......

like you mention, quite often if you plot your trades on a chart it becomes obvious......h
