What deposit methods do you prefer to use with your broker, what advantages do they offer, and would you recommend them to others? Please share your experiences and insights.
Hello there
I usually use bank transfers and credit/debit cards to deposit with my broker.
I’d recommend both methods (Bank Transfers and Credit/Debit Cards) depending on your needs—bank transfers for bigger amounts and credit/debit cards for quick deposits. Both have worked well for me.

PayPal! I dont want to lose money by paying exchange fees and worse, that crypto worth dropping!! Even though my broker tells me that they offer up to 10% discount for crypto deposits, I'd still choose PayPal.
I'm curious, why do you think crypto isn't a good option despite the discount?

Thanks a lot, is the process of Card payments not a time consuming one?
Because I've heard that it can be a pain to get your bank to make payments to other companies sometimes.

Because I need to pay exchange fees for both deposit and withdrawal! PayPal is much cheaper overall and is much safer! I know that I can't make a mistake with PayPal and even if I do, it's retrievable! Is crypto retrievable? I don't think so

Aside from my top comment, I also tend to use a broker like capitalcore that offers eye catching promotions, which they might either have no or low regulatory framework. With PayPal and card methods, I'd feel much more safe about my funds because of 'Chargeback'. This way I can trade with ease and with good promotions!

Got it, makes sense. Fees and security are important considerations for sure!

Because of chargeback option, not many brokers offer Paypal. For me, Skrill and Neteller is best because of remittance option of sending money to my bank account.

Yeah well, I don't trust those brokers that do not have card options! It's a bit fishy.

Why would that be fishy anyway?
Do you trust banks explicitly?

I thought it was a standard option with all brokers, no?
Many do offer them so you would think it's a staple of a method, but you will surprised to see how many offshore brokers there are out there that don't have it.

Oh no! Gotta be careful out there mate! A lot of brokers do not actually offer card methods, and some that do, only say that you do and once you try to deposit make some bloody excuse!

Of course I trust banks!! What kind of question is that???!! They are centralized organizations with citizen approved authorities governing over them. There are physical and accessible centers that you can refer to in case of dispute. Don't you agree?

Yes, they are the staple of the finance world, but not all of them, right?
How many banks took people's money and ran off with it?
Look that up, I'm sure you will be surprised by some of the fraudulent activities they are carrying out now, just like before.
Decentralized methods are the best, you don't leave anything in the hands of anyone else if you know how to use them, just like their original purpose was stated to be.

That's something that rarely happens!
And I'm not saying that blockchain can't be trusted! I'm saying that using a card method makes it easier to trust

I tend to trust more to centralized systems despite their drawbacks. Lots of scams in crypto, scared to hold significant amount in crypto or use it actively as a means of payment because of that.

I agree! I don't believe that the blockchain is a scam but it gives scammers a lot of ground.
