Hi all,

I think it would be better if MT4 and MT5 indicators are put in different folders.

Just a thought.

Cheers,

Most of the time, the same indicator is available both for MT4 and MT5 and it makes sense to discuss it in one place. It is easier to divide MT4/MT5 indicators using tags.

Thank you for your reply.
Ah I didn't know there are same indicators are available for MT4 and MT5.
I am a new MT5 user.
Is there a way to identify which MT4 indicators are also applicable in MT5?
Rgds,

whats the actual point of puttin em into different folders? what do U even mean by that?
Since I am a new MT5 user, and I just knew that most indicators are available for both MT4 and MT5, so I thought it would be easier for searcher to get the right indicators. Many times I searched MT5 indicators in internet -- got the links in rar file format -- when I extracted them, they're mq4 and/or ex4 files.

You just need to read the indicator's description. For example, in our list of indicators, it is clearly stated which platform they support.

I was speechless when I opened your link, Enivid. I didn't know about that page and other pages. When I suggested to separate folder, I referred to this folder https://www.earnforex.com/forum/forums/metatrader-indicators.12/
My mistake.

Seem this forum is very huge and helpful. Lucky me. I need to walk through it page by page.
Thank you for pointing it to me. And thank you for responding to my "silly" suggestion, Enivid.

Regards,
