I’ve been trying different prop firms over the past year, and some of them have been decent overall. One thing I consistently struggle with, though, is hitting profit targets when there’s a strict time limit as part of the rules. That pressure tends to push me into rushing trades, which usually doesn’t end well.
This year, I’m considering trying a prop firm called Hola Prime, mainly because their challenge models don’t seem to have a fixed time limit for completion plus 1-hour payouts. The idea of being able to trade at my own pace sounds appealing, but I wanted to hear other traders’ opinions.
For those who’ve tried challenges without time constraints, do you find them genuinely helpful, especially if you prefer not to rush setups? Or does the lack of a deadline create other challenges in terms of discipline or momentum?
