I think overtrading and poor risk management are two common forex mistakes. When you take too many trades, emotions can easily influence your decisions. Real money can also feel very different from demo trading. I prefer taking fewer trades, keeping my risk small, and only risking money I’m comfortable losing.

trading on a demo vs a live account is night and day tbh. once real money is ticking on the screen your heart rate is totally different and it’s so easy to overtrade or revenge trade the second a drawdown starts getting big. gotta slow down, cut the frequency, and just treat every execution like mechanical code or you'll get blown up fast.

And sad part: Usually people just blow their accounts.

There is a significant psychological difference in forex trading when using real funds versus virtual funds. When using real money, there is an inherent fear of loss, alongside the expectation of making a profit. It is much like being hungry and being offered a choice between imaginary food and real food—we would undoubtedly choose the real thing.
