Following the Build 5570-5572 fiasco, MetaQuotes ditched its attempts to convert MetaTrader 5 to the new Blend2D graphical engine and rolled back to GDI in its new Build 5640. Apart from that rollback, the new build introduces the following changes:
  • Improved how the terminal-wide dark theme works, making it more comfortable on the eyes.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause failure in downloading the tick history.
  • Updated the list of fundamental data for symbols that support it.
  • Added interface translation into Kurdish.
  • Fixed Edit and Trend Line chart object rendering.
  • Fixed deletion of groups of custom symbols.
  • Added a dedicated NormalizeDouble method to matrix and vector classes.
  • Fixed some bugs in the compiler.
  • Added support for markdown formatting (.md files) in MetaEditor.
  • Fixed an issue when an .mqproj file used UTF-8 with BOM encoding.
  • Debugger now properly handles local variables display.
  • Fixed an issue when backtesting on currency pairs with the margin currency different from the account currency.
