Following the Build 5570-5572 fiasco, MetaQuotes ditched its attempts to convert MetaTrader 5 to the new Blend2D graphical engine and rolled back to GDI in its new Build 5640. Apart from that rollback, the new build introduces the following changes:

- Improved how the terminal-wide dark theme works, making it more comfortable on the eyes.
- Fixed a bug that could cause failure in downloading the tick history.
- Updated the list of fundamental data for symbols that support it.
- Added interface translation into Kurdish.
- Fixed Edit and Trend Line chart object rendering.
- Fixed deletion of groups of custom symbols.
- Added a dedicated NormalizeDouble method to matrix and vector classes.
- Fixed some bugs in the compiler.
- Added support for markdown formatting (.md files) in MetaEditor.
- Fixed an issue when an .mqproj file used UTF-8 with BOM encoding.
- Debugger now properly handles local variables display.
- Fixed an issue when backtesting on currency pairs with the margin currency different from the account currency.
