A new version of the MetaTrader 5 platform was released yesterday on May 21 - the Build 2940. You can update your platform now by restarting it or by clicking Help->Check Desktop Updates->Latest Release Version. The new build focuses on new features:
  • Updated the platform's interface to show Market, Signals, and Virtual Hosting services in the main window of the platform (in place of charts).
  • Added support for IPv6 addresses.
  • Improved the Task Manager.
  • Improved performance and compatibility when running MT5 via Wine on macOS and Linux.
  • Fixed Ctrl+F9 hotkey to correctly switch to the Trade tab of the Toolbox subwindow.
  • Discontinued support for 32-bit versions of MT5 and MQL5 programs.
  • Added support for complex number type in MQL5.
  • Fixed migration to Virtual Hosting server.
  • Fixed debugging and profiling crashes.
  • Fixed trading mode check for copied signals in the Signals service.
  • Fixed trading session checks in the Strategy Tester.
  • Updated documentation for new features.
