How much time you spent for trading ?

I typically only spend about 3-8 hours per day trading forex, but I don't always open new positions if the previous plan hasn't been completed. One of the advantages of forex trading is the freedom to choose our time and whether to trade or not during market hours.

I believe there is no minimum time limits reviewing the market movements even on a high volatile day we can read the market doing analysis even if we are not taking trades we can read market movements and learning from them.
Agreed! One day can you spend just 30 minutes, but another 8 or even 10 hours...

I love trading but I’m not glued to the screen all day. My sanity needs some screen breaks and balance is the key.

Eyes need rest away from screens that sometimes cause sore and tired eyes. Even though the market provides 24-hour access, we need balance to live a healthier life.

After 6 months on demo, I finally feel confident risking real capital—and it’s paying off gradually

I usually spend around 2 hours on average—mainly managing trades, and journaling. But back when I was just starting out, it was a lot more. I’d easily spend 8–10 hours a day studying charts, watching price action, reading, testing strategies… it was almost an obsession for me.

Putting a lot of time into something new isn’t wasting time, it’s exactly how you build skill and experience. It might feel unproductive now, but every hour you spend learning, observing, and testing is laying the foundation for real understanding. And that effort compounds over time.
