Does everything just sit at the server for 20milliseconds?

Someone made me believe on MQL4 forums that every time you send a command to server it must sit there for 20 milliseconds so bothering with tester microsecond counts is kind of pointless. Is this real?

I am not sure about letting something sit for "20 milliseconds", but you certainly won't get your server-client communication within microseconds range. Even the best HFT setups (professional trading firms oprating in shares on NYSE/NASDAQ) operate in milliseconds.
