Demo accounts are like the training wheels of trading. They give you a chance to practice and experiment without risking real money. Whether you're a newbie or a seasoned trader, using a demo account is a smart move to test strategies and build confidence.

Yes, I use demo accounts almost daily. I use them to test new trading ideas and various trading software (indicators, EAs, scripts).
Can you clarify generally what scripts are? And why do you use them? I mean I know they are in a sense like the EA but what is the difference?

Scripts are like single-run EAs. For example you could run a script to close all trades. It runs just once, does it job, and that's it.

I don't know if I am an expert or nuh but I still use demo accounts to test my new strategies and also to trade some of exotics to see how will they change!
So I think you always need a demo account!

As an expert, do you use a demo account? Why?
A demo account is a tool for traders to gain experience, test strategies, learn about the market, and develop confidence. It can be a crucial step before engaging in live trading with real funds.

I think a trader should cling to demo trading as long as he stays with the market because demo is helpful for strategy testing and retaining trading knowledge for a long time.

The demo account is a great tool for beginners to learn and understand the broker's platforms. Even experienced traders use them to test their trading strategy.

Some brokers, such as [REDACTED], provide educational materials such as e-books, webinars, and video tutorials.

It's not uncommon for traders to experience differences in performance between demo (practice) trading accounts and real trading accounts.

Yes, expert traders often use demo accounts to practice and test their trading strategies in a risk-free environment before implementing them with real money.
