cTrader vs MetaTrader 4 ( Battle of the trading platforms)

Hello everyone

I wanted to find out which platform offers more in terms of :

-User interface
-Indicators
-algorithmic trading
- customer support
- Orders
-Charting tools

cTrader is much better if you consider only the platform itself - the software that you install to trade. But if you start considering the tools (indicators, expert advisors, scripts) available for both platforms, then MT4 is a clear winner.

EDIT: cTrader is definitely more beginner-friendly.

yes this is true but i think cTrader offers just as much with indicators and has their own version of expert advisor called cbots. I want to expand this thread so that beginners can have a clear understanding which trading platform would best suit them .

Yes, cTrader does have custom indicators and trading robots, but the sizes of the code base for MT4 and cTrader are incomparable.
