I'm not sure I got right your question. I mean a lock when you have equal sum of buy and sell lots and floating loss. It doesn't change with the price action (almost ). It's what I have on my account.

And what do you mean by "opening" such a lock?

Basically, this means that you need a some trader to close your current trades and realize ~20k of loss and then use the remaining ~8k balance to gain ~20k of profit. I believe someone might try that but the chances for success here are quite slim. Unless you can wait several years for your capital to get restored.

Well, I guess you're right 99% percent. But I still keep there's a magic trader with an experience of getting out of the situation like this. Yes, with the risk of losing the rest of deposit.

I would suggest closing all those "locked" trades as soon as possible to prevent more losses due to the overnight swaps.
