What's the dumbest mistake you made early on in forex?

mine was probably revenge trading after a loss - blew like 40% of my account in one week trying to "win it back" instead of just stepping away. took embarrassingly long to realize that was the problem and not my strategy

curious what got you guys the hardest starting out - was it sizing too big, psychology stuff, or just chasing strategies that never actually worked

The most ridiculous mistake I ever made was misjudging my position size when switching from a demo account to a live account; I ended up using a position size that was far too large without realizing it beforehand.

My biggest mistake would be entering trades without a clear plan. Sometimes the setup looks good, but the price moves the other way. I think beginners often risk too much and expect quick profits. Learning to control position size, accept losses, and wait for better setups takes time and practice.
