1. I don't predict. I follow what markets do anyway.
2. Diversification
3. I close dynamically, never fixedly.
4. I back test and use whatever works best, not what they tell that works best.
5. I derive rules from reality. I do not expect reality to adapt to the rules. For example, I don't follow assumptions like "cut the losers, let the winners run". I saw too many times when a winner easily becomes a loser and vice versa.
