AI coding is moving beyond simply asking a chatbot to generate a block of C# code. A more useful approach is to work with a dedicated NinjaTrader AI agent that can help manage the complete NinjaScript development workflow.
I have published a new video demonstrating this with Xen AI for NinjaTrader.
For the example, I started with an image of a Smart Money Concepts indicator rather than a detailed programming specification. The AI agent analysed the visual reference and created a custom NinjaTrader indicator with features such as market structure, BOS/CHOCH, order blocks, fair value gaps and liquidity zones.
The important part is that the process does not stop when the NinjaScript is generated. Xen can also check the project build, help resolve compilation problems and continue modifying the indicator through follow-up requests.
The video then shows the practical side of the workflow: exporting the completed add-on, installing it into NinjaTrader and attaching the new indicator to a chart.
This type of AI-assisted NinjaTrader development could be useful when you have an indicator idea, screenshot or existing piece of NinjaScript but do not want to build everything manually from scratch.

The generated indicator should still be reviewed and tested carefully. An AI agent can accelerate NinjaScript development, but successful compilation does not prove that the underlying trading logic is correct or profitable.
