Been looking into the Valetax CopyTrade Money Manager setup and wanted to share the details for anyone considering it.
Basic requirements: KYC verified account, at least 14 days of trading history, and a minimum balance of $10 (cent) or $20 (other account types). Once approved, you go through a 15 step setup, roughly 10 minutes, covering your strategy name, withdrawal policy, risk coefficients, trade visibility, and fees.
The fee structure is what stood out to me. Performance Fee is usually 20 to 30 percent of investor profits, but it only applies above your High Watermark, meaning investors never get double charged and you only earn when you generate real new gains. There is also an Agent Fee for IBs, taken from the Performance Fee itself, not from investor profits directly.
You can also set a Subscription fee and a one time Entry Fee if you want extra structure around how people join your strategy. Up to 100 investor accounts can follow one strategy, so it scales well if your track record holds up.
Platform already has 500+ active Money Managers and $2M+ in volume, so it is not some brand new untested feature. Might be worth it if you already have a solid strategy and want investors backing it.
