Server Speed should be taken into account

In my view server speed is one of the best criteria to select broker. If server is fast, trading will be more fast and instant. Re-quotes will be at minimum. This is true since server speed is very important in trading because when you send an open trade request to the broker’s server, if is in good then your trade can be executed earlier.


Well this server speed is definitely very important however one of factors that influence speed of opening/closing trades is our internet speed, if we have slow internet then we can expect many re-quotes when markets are moving very quickly.

Not sure about the server speed and requotes, since re-quotes are more indicative of MM's and scum brokers. Of course, you get re-quotes with legit brokers but only to a limited frequency..
As for server speed, try chatting up with a broker and ask them for the info and more often than not, all brokers would claim that their server is as fast as a cray..yeah, like that's ever gonna happen.
I guess if you really need the server speed info, there are a couple of online apps that can check this up for you..
