Looking for an intro to someone with a professional trading account.
I have something valuable to offer in return. DM me if you can connect!
Thanks

If by “professional account” you mean pro-client classification, note you’ll waive some retail protections; what venue/instruments do you actually need access to?

Hi,

Thanks. I already have a Pro account with City Index UK.

I’m looking for someone to refer, as they’ve offered me a lucrative incentive and the person who joins also benefits from the offer.

If you have 5 minutes, I can explain it to you.

I have attached screenshot of offer

Thanks

Genuine ‘professional’ accounts come with higher leverage but also fewer protections—be careful who you share details with. Transparency will get you better responses

Hi Fargana,

Thanks for your message. I’ve been trading with City Index for the past 10 years. I’m not part of any trading community, as I work full-time alongside trading, so I don’t really know many people in the trading business.

I understand that many people say this is a scam, but everything shown in the attached screenshot is genuine and accurate.

If you have any suggestions on how I can be more transparent, I’d be happy to hear them.

What do you mean by a professional account?
To qualify as a professional trader, you must meet any two of the three required criteria. If you do, you will be eligible for a professional account.

Any 2

1. Have completed 40 qualifying trades over the last 12 months, 10 per quarter. A qualifying trade has a notional value of 6k for equities and £30k for indices, FX and commodities.

2.Evidence 500k euros in liquid assets (cash, stocks and shares ISAs, trading accounts, mutual funds, SIPP)

3.Have 1 years’ experience in the financial sector, in a role related to leverage products .

Thanks for the explanation.

Then how do people verify themselves as a professional trader? I mean how would you know they are not lying?!

You need to provide proof, such as a broker statement, contract letter, or a letter from your employer.

Person has to be UK resident .

From my experience pro classification gives higher leverage but fewer safeguards, so verification matters. Do they ask for recent broker statements and proof you meet 2 of 3 FCA style criteria as you described, and will they put the referral terms in writing for transparency
