MetaTrader 4 Client Terminal Build 830

MetaQuotes has released a hot fix build 830 for its MetaTrader 4 platform. It corrects the critical bugs of build 825. It should be available via auto-update service of your broker's trading server. Alternatively, you can connect to MetaQuotes' demo server to get the update. The build 830 is described in this post by MetaQuotes.

I have been experiencing random disconnects since I updated to build 825/830. MT4 will not automatically reconnect, it always requires a restart of the terminal.

Which version of Windows is that on?

Windows Server 2008 R2 - it's happening with several brokers on three different VPS.

Strange. My 830 is also running on a VPS (Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise) and has not yet displayed such behavior.

The build 840 is out. You should try it - perhaps, your problem is gone now.

Yeah, I saw it, thanks. Nothing specific in the change log, though, but I hope they fixed it.
