How to refresh data in EA, Indicator while back test?

Hi,

Does anyone know how to refresh data on other TIME FRAME(s) during back test on current TIME FRAME?

EA/Indicator can refresh data while back test on current time frame only.

However, at the same time let say at EA/Indicator running on H1 Time Frame, H1 data can produce result, other Time Frame like M30, H4 and etcs...cannot pick up data.

When you first request the data from another timeframe, the platform will initiate its download. After some time it will become available. Your EA/indicator needs to make sure that the data is available by using iBars() function.

Hi Enivid,

I have downloaded via "Tools" tab, then "History Center" has no effect on my Indicator while doing back test.

But when I loaded on Demo account, it works.

Meaning I cannot do back test. Only can test it on Demo account.

iBar() not sure how to use yet.

I want readings on Bars 0 , 1 , 2 only on all Timeframes at the same time while back test.

Do you know any references which I can study?

Could you please share the EA/indicator here so I could look at it?

By the way, another method to work with multiple currencies in MT4 is to apply a dummy custom indicator to other pairs/timeframes. You can see an example of how it is done in my USDX indicators.

The data finally pick up in my EA. Indicator still fail to pick up the data. Not sure why.
