Hello. I would like to use the Forex Trading Journal available on this page https://www.earnforex.com/guides/forex-trading-journal/ but I keep getting the error as in the pic. If I check the circular references in the formula tab I get random errors referring to columns D and E in the Trade Journal tab. I'm not an Excel expert so not sure how to fix that. Any ideas? By the way, the journal looks great and it's the best free one I have found so far. Thanks for making it available, but it would be nice to get rid of the errors. Thank you

You should definitely enable iterative calculation in options. Regarding the errors, I have to see them to be able to help you.

Also, which version of Excel are you using? I am on 2016 and it works fine.
Thanks for your reply. I definitely need to apologise. I was 100% sure I had enabed the iterative calculations but probably I didn't hit the OK button. 🙂

Hello again. I'm afraid I have to ask for help again. I recently upgraded to Office 2021 and I'm having trouble. I get the same issue if I open the file on my Google Drive with the Excel provided, thus I'm posting a screenshot of it while opened on the Drive. so you can easily replicate it yourself. As you see in the picture, the cells highlighted in yellow don't show any value. As a consequence the Analysis tab shows a lot of #DIV0! and I also keep getting the error as in the 2nd pic. The Iteration option of course is enabled 🙂 Any idea how to fix it? Thank you.

That's because you have to fill in the profit/loss in USD. Pips are calculated automatically, but USD profit/loss should be entered manually.

Of course!!! The annoying thing is that I had used the spreadsheet several times before and then I put it aside. Now I evidently forgot how to use it. Shame on me! This thread should be deleted as it's only noise LOL. Thank you so much for reminding me and above all for your patience! 🙂

Hi, so we have to fill in the profit/loss in USD and also the % too? Even after filling in the profit/loss my % remains empty

No, you just have to fill in the USD profit/loss. The % is calculated by the spreadsheet. If it is empty, check if the formula is still there. If it is not, copy it from some other row.
