EUR/USD - 02/04/2020 - Still holding shorts on this and eying more.

Going to be paying close attention to USD initial jobless claims at 12:30 as expecting it to be considerably high though EUR PPI will also be quite low.

Just expecting all news to be negative for both currencies so eying price action and eying pair to break bellow the 1.09 mark.

If no gains made on run up to 12-12:30gmt will be eying the buys.

How is everyone else trading today? :)42A636B3-3F90-4842-89D8-B6B1B3EDBC2F.png

Cliff edge drop today! Bet the shorts are looking tasty. I think ultimately this will be a long term buy as the US is a way behind Europe in terms of virus progression despite their infection numbers. That has to cause a swing.

EUR/USD - 07.04.2020 - I’m in with buys from 1.08.

Expected reversal this week after shorts all last week.

USD taking big hits as virus restarts reaching peaks in Europe and cases grow in U.S that isn’t in full lockdown.

Safe to say jumping on the buys until end of week seems a pretty sure bet.

EUR/USD - 09/04/2020 - took profit at 1.09 still holding 30% of my buy trades through consolidation.

EUR news a bit choppy - “European Central Bank (ECB) has asked for a fiscal stimulus package worth 1.5 trillion euros. However, the European ministers have failed to deliver the stimulus so far due to a constant standoff between southern European states like Italy and fiscally conservative countries like the Netherlands. Hence, we have not seemed much price action in the EUR/USD currency pair.”

Still expecting USD news to be not so great either, I’m feeling the longs on EURUSD but gonna await developments before placing more orders.

Think we might see some strength back for the USD?

yes I agree this pair is a bit 'choppy' as you put it, and I think we should expect to see volatility for some time now
