A strong trend suddenly reversing

Good day guys, please I'm new here and relatively new to forex trading too. Pls i have a question that i would appreciate inputs from you guys... Pls why does a strong trend with above 35 adx indicator reading suddenly reverse and how can i spot this sudden reversal on time in the future. Thanks

Technical indicators aren't bulletproof. If some fundamental news release pushes the currency pair, it will break important technical levels and will reverse its trend even if indicators are pointing at a strong trend going.

From my experience such situation happens not so often but they do from time to time. Watch for release of important indicators for traded currency, and try to avoid to have open position during these times

Higer time frames are key. Watch the weekly and the monthly

In this case you should not rely only on one indicator. Probably several would do a good job. Try to combine them in order to see confirmation of trend reversal
