Yes will suggest demo for only knowing the basics, rest I think demo has nothing to teach when it comes to the real pressure and tensions of trading, concerned with discipline and emotions.

Never trade on the basis of what others tell you. Your trading style and strategy is not going to match 100% with anyone else. Be yourself, create your own plans, use your own strategy and then trade. That’s what I do atleast.

Practicing hard on demo and gaining every bit of knowledge that I could about forex. That is how I mastered this field. So try and focus on practice and research, do not give up.

Agree with you to a certain extent. But emotions hardly play any role in demo. When you risk your real funds into trading, that is when emotions come into play.
