TDI Alert Notifications

Good day guys. I need help with setting up my TDI Notification Alerts. If anyone has the knowledge to do so, please kindly assist me. I thank you

hey eddie..... by TDI Notification Alerts i'm assuming you mean push notifications sent to your iphone or some such device.....

on the computers platform select tools then options then notifications...... put your metaquotes id where mine says abcdef...... once done push the test button to check......

your metaquotes id can be found on your mobile device's metatrader platform...... look under chat and messages in the settings tab...... your metaquotes id should be at the bottom.....

other than that, we would most likely need to know the indicators name and mq4 or 5.....

try to limit the notifications per minute....... in other words not every tick......

or metatrader will......h

slightly on topic ......

something else that might help someone would be notifications on simple price alerts......

when you right click on the chart to place a price alert, by default it is sound, meaning your computer makes a sound from the sources listed......

you can vary those sources to relate to urgency...... as example, i will often use 'incoming mail' for something that i must handle immediately......

or you can select notification instead of sound....... which will send the push notification to your mobile device.......

both are useful.....h

Thanks for the reply Master Trader. What i really need is how to configure the Tupenof Notification i have seen on someones post. I have managed to set up my TDI and Push Notification settings and the notifications are coming to my mobile as expected.

I have seen some Notifications on someones MT5 indicating for example;
. Boom 500 Entered Overbought/Oversold Level
. Crash 1000 Index M15 29.05.2025 1636hrs Buy Entry at 4527.890

something like that...

hey eddie...... in that case you would need to add the code to the indicator.....

if your conditions are met, then send the notification...... the notification function allows for your message to be included........

my somewhat complicated example below would be to look at every symbol on every time frame and notify of when the price breaks the psar......

my notification below sends the symbol, timeframe and the words "minute psar bullish change" or "minute psar bearish change".......

be sure to include a manner to turn on/off the notifications in the indicators inputs....... along with a manner to limit the number and/or frequency.......

enivid has something written up on how to code it......
