What do you read in the non-Forex genre? Personally, I enjoy combat history and sci-fi books. I keep my smartphone stocked so I always have something to read.

Recently, I found O'Reilly's "Killing Lincoln" and Killing Kennedy" online as a "torrent." After downloading, it was nothing to find a format converter to play them in my phone.

"Killing Lincoln" is about Lincoln's final 14 days, and includes a great rendition of Lee's surrender to Grant. These two are "can't put it down" stories.

Whether from Santa or on your own, you shouldn't miss these two books. I lived through the Kennedy period and they're spot on! I just missed the Civil War period. LMAO

Nice thread! Will surely try getting those books.

I find myself to read a lot of Cormac McCarthy lately. His The Border Trilogy is the latest I've read. A rather unusual story of cowboys on US-Mexican borderlands. The story deals mainly with losses of various... things in one's life.

But you have to love McCarthy's writing style, which is somewhat unusual, to enjoy it. I would recommend the three books (All the Pretty Horses, The Crossing and Cities of the Plain) only if you liked at least one of the author's other works.
