My friend was scammed by the broker "Spring" (Spring Information Ltd)

In December 2020, my friend got in contact with a Chinese girl named Ellie on Whatsapp. She sent him photos of some money that she earned in her recent transaction. It was $20,000. Then she sent him photos of some jewelry made of diamonds and started to ask him how much he could earn monthly.

Soon my friend made contact with the girl's broker to open a live account. After about 5 weeks of more or less successful trades in XAU/USD, his funds was transferred to a Spring Account.

But when he hoped to withdraw his fund, the girl started to act distant with him and after a few hours he couldn't deliver to her more messages on WhatsApp. After one and a half weeks, he still couldn't deliver her any messages, so he started to panic and tried to contact the customer service... but the customer service didn't reply either.

That's actually a rather popular type of scam recently - involving some attractive social contact to lure the victim in.

It has been for some time now this type of scam operation happened. Especially from China they use young and attractive women to lure new clients into scam investment.

Now this is a very sad incident. There are so many scammers out there. Be careful.
