TradingView Xen AI allows you to export the List of Trades from TradingView as a CSV file, upload it to Xen and generate a detailed report from the completed trades. The report looks beyond the usual net profit and win rate figures. It can review profit factor, maximum drawdown, losing streaks, long and short performance, average trade results, and whether the backtest depends heavily on a small number of large winners.
It can also highlight weaker periods in the test and flag missing assumptions such as commission or slippage, which can make a big difference when the historical edge is relatively small.
The report then suggests useful follow-up tests, including out-of-sample validation, walk-forward testing, parameter variation and checking how the strategy performs when the largest winning trades are removed.
The strategy does not need to have been created with Xen. You can analyse any compatible TradingView Strategy Tester List of Trades export.
