How to select the best EA

Look for back testing results over various market conditions. metrics like the profit factor, maximum drawdown, and win/loss ratio. which need to be select?

I always start with the net profit as the basic metric, then among the top performing runs, I select those with the highest number of trades and lowest drawdown.

I still prefer manual trading, but I think a low drawdown indicates tight money management. CMIW.

Same. Even I am currently sticking to manual trading. I somehow have not found enough confidence on automation.
