Hi everyone!

I've been an algorithmic Forex trader since way back in 2014 — which makes it sound like I've been at this since the age of the dinosaurs 🙂) But it's true. Over the years I've been through everything a Forex trader is bound to go through: blown accounts, first successes, consistently high placements in the MQL5 signal rankings, working as part of a team building our own trading systems in MQL4/MQL5, top spots in the PAMM account ratings at Alpari (let's have a moment of silence for that one) and at the European broker Darwinex, and finally reaching stable, consistent trading. But most importantly, I've developed a sound approach to testing and optimizing trading systems — which is precisely what lets me filter out the thousands of megabytes of EAs that earn nothing but the label "junk." And that's roughly 95% of them, as sad as it is to admit.

Then one day, a few years ago, it hit me: in my constant search for something that actually works, I test hundreds of EAs a week using Tick Data Suite (a paid tool), with high-quality tick history and real spread — so why not share all of this with people for free? Think how much money it could save newcomers who mindlessly test an EA at 90% modeling quality with a fixed spread of 1, get a beautiful equity curve, and then go off and blow their money on it. So I started sharing my tests, along with my methodology for testing and validating systems, with everyone, on forums.

But to my great surprise, it turned out that even when you hand people a quality test and explain how to use the tools to verify things for themselves, most of them still carry on acting mindlessly, never appreciating any of the value they're being given.

In joining this forum, I'll likewise do my best to bring as much value as I can to the trading community. And to be clear: I'm not selling anything and I'm not chasing any commercial gain, unlike most of the charlatan EA sellers out there.
