I've been testing Xen AI's ability to create custom trading indicators from simple prompts.
For this project, I asked Xen AI to build a Trend Exhaustion Detector that combines:
• Momentum Decay
• ATR Compression
• Volume Divergence
• Reversal Probability Analysis
The objective is to identify trends that may be losing strength before a potential reversal or consolidation phase.
The resulting indicator includes:
• Exhaustion Score histogram (0–100)
• Reversal Probability line
• Configurable thresholds and weighting factors
• Support for all symbols and timeframes
What impressed me most was how quickly the initial working version was generated from a natural language description. It provides a useful starting point for testing and refining new trading concepts without spending hours coding from scratch.
