Been testing a few brokers this year for scalping and ended up settling on the Valetax ECN account for now. Wanted to share some numbers in case it helps anyone comparing options.

Spreads on EUR/USD are running 0 to 1 pip most sessions, and Gold is sitting around 0.7 to 0.9 pips. Commission is a flat $4 per round turn, so $0.04 per 0.01 lot, which is easy to factor into cost per trade. Minimum deposit is only $50, which surprised me for an ECN style account, most brokers want at least a few hundred.

Leverage goes up to 1:2000 but it is tied to your equity. Once your balance moves past 500 dollars it steps down to 1:1000, then continues scaling down as equity grows. Makes sense from a risk standpoint but worth knowing before you deposit more than you plan to trade with.

One thing I did not expect was the rebate. You get $3 back on EUR/USD and Gold trades, which quietly brings your effective cost down if you trade those pairs often.

Execution has been fast for me so far, no noticeable requotes on entries. Running on MT5 since it allows up to 10 accounts versus only 2 on MT4, useful if you want to separate strategies.

Not sponsored, just sharing since I was looking for exactly this kind of breakdown before I opened the account. Happy to answer questions if anyone is comparing it to another ECN broker.
