ATC 2010 Starts in a Week. Are You Interested?

September 27, 2010 (Last updated on October 1, 2010) by

Automated Trading Championship (ATC 2010) — one of the biggest events in the world of automated Forex trading — starts in one week from today — on Monday, October 4. The championship will be conducted among the expert advisors written in MQL5 for the MT5 trading platform. The registration has closed and, according to the official site of the contest, only 339 participant have passed the preliminary tests in accordance with the contest’s rules — that’s out of more than 1600 initially registered participants. It looks like the new MQL5 code and MT5 execution rules have greatly reduced the number of participating EAs this year. I was lucky enough for my EA to pass the test and, of course, I’ll be following the championship to see how it works and how other EAs work against the market. And how about you, will you be interested in this year’s ATC?

If I knew how to write in MQL5 I would love to be part of it. However, EA´s has never really been my thing due to all the scams out there, but this is absolutely one of the right ways to go about it. I look forward to the result. Good luck with your EA :)

I made it into the compation also. I did not turn on agressive ordering like lots of the others EAs, but my goal was to show how EA could make money with good money managemet. My goal is to be positive account balalance at the end of the compition. The winners are usually not an EA settings you would turn on a real account.
