Hello all,

I am not here to advertise, only to document. I am a long time trader and am experimenting with the use of the trend breakthrough system Avonko Elite. I am working with the settings to fine tune the program to my aggressive trading style.

In any case, I will return to this thread daily to post my results, so that the world may see how they stack up to the claims of the EA creator, and so that through collaboration we may eventually develop a better system.

I welcome all comments, questions and criticism, and look forward to sharing my trading experiences with everyone else here as eager to learn as I am.

Posted another win on the rally this morning in EURJPY:

+2 eurjpy 130.25
take profit 130.55

net gain: $60.60
balance: $5120.60

net profit/loss running: +120.60 (+2.4%)

take profit 131.99

for another gain of 30 pips

+$60.60 in real money balance
account balance $5181.20 (+3.624% net)


some thoughts... As my balance increases slightly I am considering increasing the lots traded from 2.0 to 2.1 so as to reflect the larger base I am now trading with. I am also considering tightening the stop/loss a bit so as to not give as much back on the inevitable losing trades, as each of these winning trades where we ride the short term trend has come without any retracement. Any thoughts?

Where can I read more information on this strategy?

Not much of a move this morning in the eurjpy, so no trades made yet
pending a sharp break to the downside or a spike this morning or early afternoon. Here are the trade triggers the system set forth which have yet to be hit this morning:

buy eurjpy 135.03: t/p 135.33: s/l 134.13
sell eurjpy 133.08: t/p 132.78: s/l 133.98
