VPS is a server that runs Expert Advisors. Its obvious advantages is that you don't have to worry about your computer suddenly power off with an open trade. If it uptime is close to 100%, you can be sure that it will run your Expert Advisors without problems.

make sure that your robot earns you the monthly fee, which the lowest I know of is $39 per month.

That's right, I wouldn't even consider booking a VPS with an account below several thousands dollars.
