Hi, could someone let me know how much you would need in a classic account to have upto 6 trades going at once.

I am just about to go live with Alpari and can't decide whether to open a classic or micro account.

I have approximately $5532 usd to start with.

Thanks

Hi Enivid,

1. each trade is is going to be 1 lot, (depending on cost either standard or micro)
2. no leverage 1:1
3. 25 pip stop out level (this is what I'd ideally like to have), however anything between
25 pips and break even would suffice.
4. I'd be trading three pairs, audusd, eurusd and gbpusd over 4 timeframes, 5min, 15 min, 30 min and 1hour.

3. I meant the broker's stop-out level (the minimum ratio for equity / used margin), not the stop-loss, but since you are going to trade without leverage, it's irrelevant.

To open 1 standard lot of AUD/USD with 1:1 leverage, you'd need about $100,000. For EUR/USD ~ $134,780. GBP/USD ~ $157,430. Since you are trading without leverage, you'll be able to hold any amount of pips loss on them.

For micro, just divide those numbers by 100.

It depends on your trading lots size manually; suppose you can open more than 10 trades at a time with the capital 100$, if you use small trading lots size.
