I think that emotional control is the most difficult job for me especially when i loss my own money. sometimes it makes me crazy and i act like a mad person. but as time goes on i become able to control my emotion thinking that loss is common is this market.

There are no hard and fast rules to control emotions. The only rule that I follow in every condition, is to stick on my trading rules and it gives me much clear handling as well. It's really difficult to see a negatively floating trade for long time and most traders fail to maange their trading.

I don't think it should ever come to a big loss, that is what risk management is for. I understand sometimes trader's get tempted, but as a good trader you need to be disciplined.

Yes some times we are much crazy to recover our loss that we do aggressive trading . It suits to some people only who think logically in aggression. When we loose should take some break .After it think of the causes and try to avoid them next time.

Discipline + money management should prevent all of that. You shouldn't ever risk anything more than what you can afford to lose. And even then, your money management plan should prevent you from losing anything significant.

Psychology wise however, you either need to practice not getting "mad" at losing trades, or just stop trading all along. If you can't support it, trading won't be good at all for you in the long run...

The truth is that big loss should've been avoided in the first place.

Sir, the first thing that you should known and understand is that "forex is very risky!!!".
So, if you going to trade, just invest your unused fund in forex. Don't ever invest your primary money..
It's to eliminate your emotion if got lost..
Keep learn FOREX...!!!

I just let it go, it's the business that we got into, we should accept the consequences. As the saying goes 'we win some, we lose some"

I know it`s hard to cope with losses. A walk in fresh air helps me to calm down and then later I can analyse what went wrong.
I think it`s important to not to lose your head after a loss and start gambling.

Lol, You would have to be some kind of robot to sit there, watch a trade go against you and feel nothing at all. IDK how you get into or out of your trades, but analyze what you did wrong and how to avoid it in the future. (On the flip side, sometimes, everything can line up perfectly and you still end up losing the trade.)

For me, I think if your enjoying doing this then your successful, since trading is a lifestyle....

If you lose money once or couple of times then it is normal in Forex market. Even the best traders can't earn money in each day, but if you loss your money continuously then it is obvious that you are doing the same mistake again and again. In this scenario my best suggestion is that you should try to find out those mistakes.

I disagree, it may be risky to new traders as they do not have the knowledge, but that is the fault of the trader and not trading in itself. The markets are not to blame for your own lack of knowledge.

In my personal opinion, one of the best ways to avoid the big loss in the forex market is to make sure that you use the stop loss feature in the forex market. Stop loss makes sure that your position is automatically closed as soon as the loss tries to breach the your affordability limit. This will ensure that your emotions can keep in check and you won't prolong your losses by insisting on staying in the forex market.

You should control your greed by planning and act upon on it . Not see for more profits,. with low profits build your confidence it will remove your fear in trading. In this way you will over come two most common emotional trading states.emotions are not easy for us to control . We find this expertise after many experience.
