Hi
I am not sure if I am doing this right.

MQL5 Code:

   int filehandle=FileOpen("alosh.csv",FILE_WRITE|FILE_CSV);   

// and inside the loop

         if(TimeToString(_Period) == "M1") 
            FileWrite(filehandle,Y);

where is it file located? I searched for no avail.

For demo/real trading:
/MQL5/Files/

For backtesting:
/tester/<agent name>/MQL5/Files/

I don't have Files under MQL5 in my Window 7 installation. I further searched MQL5 for the file for no avail.
FileIsExist() reports true.

none. just launching an indicator with an member function of one object using the File writing stuff.

in debugging mode, hitting the run button on the tool bar. or attaching the indicator to a chart.

Hmmm... I don't know where the file is saved in the Debug mode. Try searching for "alosh.csv" file via Windows.
