MetaQuotes Software announced a MT5 Beta Testing Period, which will last for 5-6 months. So the current version is quite raw, but we already can see how is it different from MT4. The Strategy Tester module is missing in this version and there are some glithes in the interface.
On the good side, the MQL Language and Editor are now became a real development environment with a lot of possibilities for creating the excellent indicators and expert advisors. On the bad side, new MQL editor can't compile old .mq4 files and the MT5 terminal can't use indicators or expert advisors in .ex4 form. That's sad. On the other hand, I think that developers will soon translate the expert advisors and indicators into new code  .
